Skills Bootcamps for Londoners
Novice to Cat C
Driving and delivering goods across all sectors and distances for a range of customers from private individuals and sole traders through to large global organisations. The Car to CAT C programme will allow you to gain your CAT C Licence and start your career as a professional HGV driver.
Skills Bootcamps for Londoners are funded by the Mayor of London and the Department for Education (Skills for Life). These flexible programmes of up to 16 weeks in length provide the opportunity for London residents to upskill or reskill, gaining valuable training to progress in work.
Skills Bootcamps are free for eligible Londoners aged 19+ or co-funded for employers looking to upskill their staff.

- Who's in whose blind spot (VRU)
- Drivers Tachograph
4. Tests
- Mod 4 training and 'show me tell me' test
- Practical 3a reverse training and test
- Practical 3b training and test (20 hours)
- Tachograph card application
Eligibility Criteria
- Age requirement: 19+
- Residency: Must live in London
- Employment status: Open to employed, self-employed, unemployed, or returning to work
- Additional eligibility notes (e.g. right to work in the UK, not currently in full-time education)
