Social value aims have been grouped under three pillars:

- Unfunded support into work
- Local skills and employment measures
- Business support to VCSEs
- Staff volunteering to VCSEs
- Theft prevention
- Support for homelessness charities
- Unfunded wellbeing training, food and PPE
Greener
- Green transport
- Fuel-efficient driving
- Carbon reduction
More prosperous
- People employed in our supply chain
- People employed by us
- Long-term unemployed hired
- NEETs hired
- School visits
- Mental health campaigns
- Real Living Wage employer
- Promoting responsible business
- Spend with supply chain partners
- Spend with SMEs

Some of these activities we have been delivering for some time such as providing unfunded support into work for our pre-employment learners. Other activities are new such as supporting the voluntary, community or social enterprise organisation (VCSE) provider base in Greater Manchester to help them become more resilient and better equipped to assist the residents and communities they serve.
